Jolly Stanesby of Ivybridge, Devon is probably known as Britain's most persistant campaigner.
Eight years of fighting for Shared residence of his daughter Rosy (now 10) only concluded when Rosy became old enough to tell the Court that if she could not see her father 50/50, she would run away to him.
As always, (and as in case 1) when the child says this, the Courts immediately back down and give the child what all children want-both parents fully involved in their life, just as The Children Act intended.
